Haiti quake more destructive than 2004 tsunami

The scale of devastation in Haiti was far worse than in Asia after the 2004 tsunami, according to a study by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

The Haiti quake could be the most destructive disaster in modern history, the study said.

Port-au-Prince is still in ruins after more than one month, while the over 200,000 dead bodies pile up in mass graves outside the capital.
