Pattani - A Muslim man, who was a former defence volunteer, was shot dead in this southern border province Monday afternoon.
Mah Lama, 58, was shot twice on his head in front of a barber's shop in Klong Narin village in Tambon Barahoh in Muang district at 3:55 pm.
Witnesses said the gunman was a pillion rider who walked towards the victim and shot him at point blank and fled the scene on the same motorcycle.
