Foreign investors are not too concerned about this weekend's anti-government rallies by the red-shirts as they view the incident as part of the democratic system, Deputy Prime Minister Trairong Suwannakhiri said after meeting with businesspersons from chambers of commerce of the U.S., Japan, and Canada in Bangkok on Friday.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij is confident that Japanese investors will understand the current political situation in Thailand.
Korn who will be staging roadshows in Japan this weekend (March 12-13) is confident
the Thai government's investment promotion policy and incentives will be able to maintain the interests of Japanese investors who viewed investments as long-term projects.
