A grenade was fired at the Defence Ministry's head office at 11 pm Saturday.
The bomb was fired at the ministry from the side of Assadang Road, which is about 30 metres from the Mahadthai Intersection.
The blast damaged windows and ceiling.
A source said a soldier was injured.
