Default no cause for alarm, says Korn

Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij Friday said Dubai World's default would not hit Thai exports to the Middle Eastern market, as other parts of the United Arab Emirates and the region remain economically sound.
However, the global and Thai stock markets will likely be bearish for at least the next one to two months as investors are increasingly worried by the prospects of a second round of the global financial crisis.
