Dark-horse Yutthasilp becomes assistant Army chief

Lt Gen Yutthasilp Doichuenbarn has been appointed an assistant Army chief in the annual military reshuffle.
The reshuffle of 550 senior military officers, which will take effect on October 1, has been signed by a royal command and was announced on TV at noon Thursday.
Among key positions, Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha will become the next Army chief.
Gen Thirawat Boonyapradab will become the deputy Army chief.
