Court to rule on Veera's bail Friday

The Appeals Court is scheduled Friday to rule whether to grant bail for terrorism suspect Veera Musigapong after a senior government offical on Thursday testified in his favour.

At the judical inquiry for appellate review, secretary general to the prime minister Korbsak Sabhavasu said Veera was not known as a violent person.

Korbsak told the court he was in charge of negotiating with Veera to find ways to end the red-shirt rally.
