TOT contribution to undersea cable approved
The TOT board recently approved the state agency's plan to join in a project to build an Asian submarine cable link to cater to the fast growth of bandwidth demand in Thailand.
TOT will contribute US$40 million (Bt1.2 bilāļ?lion) to the project, which will boost its capacity to provide international Internet bandwidth. Construction of the network, which has a lifespan of 20-25 years, will be completed within two years. Business development eservice goes nationwide
The Business Development Department will have its eservice set up in all 76 provinces early this year to facilitate business growth.
Banyong Limprayoonwong, directorgeneral of the department, said enterprises would save time and money when doing business transactions after the eservice is fully operational nationwide.
The eservice facilitates the process of submitting annual balance sheets, notification of companies' stakeholders, and paying fees via Internet banking and ATMs. The eservice started in 2006 in 21 provinces. Tesco Broker waives fee for roadtax extensions
Tesco Lotus has offered extra convenience to customers who choose to buy their Por Ror Bor and general car insurance from Tesco Broker Insurance by waiving the fee for roadtax extension payments.
"We are aware that customers have to pay road tax and buy car insurance at the same time, so we have combined them in a onestopshop package for customers. Existing Tesco Broker carinsurance poliāļ?cyholders, as well as those applying in the promotional period, are eligible for a waiver on their whole tax payment processing fee," said Tesco Lotus head of retail services Teeravuth Suthanaseriporn.
Carinsurance packages and free roadtax extension service are available from TCS counters and Tesco Lotus cashiers at more than 120 Tesco Lotus and Value stores nationwide. The campaign will run until June 30.
