The merging of three major Bangkok city parks into one are among issues the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will tackle on December 18
BMA Governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra said city executive plans to be complete by next year or early 2011 included urgent issues such as the Bang Sue water-drainage tunnel construction to control floods, and traffic jam solutions.
Sukhumbhand said the city also wanted to merge Chatuchak Park, Wachirabenjathat Park and HM Queen Sirikit Park into one to celebrate His Majesty the King's 84th birthday anniversary in 2011. He said policy details would be announced on December 18.
