Asian stocks markets climbed to 8-week highs on Wednesday following gains (17-month high) on Wall Street overnight after the U.S. Federal Reserve maintained its rates at 0.25 percent
Japan's Nikkei 225 average rose 0.7 percent to 10,795.78, an 8-week high.The broader Topix gained 0.6 percent to 943.37.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was up 0.9 percent at 1,663.29 points.
Australian stocks rose 0.7 percent, driven by a rally in resources stocks.
