Army chief affirms efficiency of surveillance airship

Army Commander-in-Chief Gen Anupong Paochinda Friday insisted the surveillance airship for the southern border provinces has no problems and is suitable for the purpose.
"Had it not been suitable for the usage in the deep South, I wouldn't have ordered it," Anupong replied to a question from reporters before attending a meeting at the Government House.
He denied reports that the airship had already ruptured and could not be used.
"I don't know who spread that rumours. I've checked the issue a moment ago and it's still operating with no problems," Anupong said.
