American arrested for allegedly stabbing Thai bar girl to death

PHUKET - A 37-year-old American man was arrested for stabbing a Thai bar girl to death, concealing her in a luggage and dumping it near a road last June, police told a press conference Monday.
Police presented Ronald John Fanelli II along with the victim's cell phone and SIM card, the battle pants he wore on the day, a Suzuki motorcycle used to move the body and the murder weapon a knife.
Fanelli II allegedly told police that he became paranoid when 33-year-old Wanpen Pianjai, whom he picked up from the Sweetheart Bar on June 18, played with his knife and thus stabbed her to dead before putting her body in a luggage and dumping it on a roadside. The body was discovered on June 24.
