The Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation has submitted its report recommending for the additional lift of emergency rule in six provinces, Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said on Thursday.
At present, the state of emergency was twice scaled down from 24 to 16 provinces, including Bangkok.
If endorsed by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, emergency rule will remain in 10 provinces/ Bamglpl. Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Ayutthaya are the core areas of emergency rule.
