Abhisit says intelligence reports pointed to possible sabotage


Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said Saturday that recent intelligence reports pointed to the possibility of sabotage taking place on March 14.
Abhisit said the government is closely monitoring the situation and will make sure that no weapons will be smuggled out from the military barracks. He admitted that the government's SecurityRelated Situation Monitoring Committee had received information indicating that possible acts of sabotage aimed at creating chaos in the country.
He did not supply further details about the nature of the possible sabotage or who might be behind such a plot.
