Bank of Ayudhya is raising the fixed deposit rates by 0.10-0.30 percentage point, effective on September 7.
While savings rate is maintained at 0.50 per cent, the 3-month fixed rate is raised from 0.875 per cent to 1.05 per cent. The 12-month fixed rate for deposits above Bt5 million jumps to 1.50 per cent from 1.20 per cent.
It is the third bank to raise the deposit rates, after the Monetary Policy Committee jacked up the policy rate on August 25. The first two banks were Kasikornbank and Siam Commercial Bank.
