The Cabinet yesterday approved a major rotation of senior officials in economic ministries ahead of the start of the new fiscal year on October 1.
The big move is the crossover of Pornchai Rujiprapha, permanent secretary at the Energy Ministry, to the same position at the Science and Technology Ministry.
At the Commerce Ministry, the director-general of Export Promotion Department, Srirat Rastapana, will swap places with Nantawan Sakutanaga, director-general of the Trade Negotiations Department.
The Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry will have three positions changed at the C-10 level. Somchai Charnnarongkul, director-general of the Agriculture Department, becomes director-general of the Cooperative Promotion Department.
Jirakorn Kosaisevi, an inspector-general, takes over as director-general of the Agriculture Department.
Lert Virojkowattana, another inspector-general, heads to the Agricultural Land Reform Office as its secretary-general.
