The Stock Exchange of Thailand together with Credit Suisse Securities (Thailand) will host a roadshow to Singapore, to be led by Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij.
Joining the trip on August 27 would be 9 listed companies as well as a representative from the National Telecommunications Commission.
SET President Charamporn Jotikasthira said that "the SET-CS Singapore Roadshow 2010" is the third roadshow of this year, following the successful ones in Japan and London. While Korn will update investors on the economic picture, the NTC representative will highlight the 3G investment issue.
"This roadshow is presenting Thailand's economic data and investment opportunities to the investors, to demonstrate the strengths of the Thai economy and listed companies as well as the exchange's development in building up demand," Charamporn said.
He expected several foreign investors to attend the roadshow.
