CONFIDENCE

Consumer confidence continues its spike

Thailand's consumer confidence index (CCI) in July moved up from 77.1 in the previous month to 79.3 points, the highest level in six months. The and grew for three consecutive months after the end of political turmoil.

According to the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the rise was attributable to lower oil prices, strong export growth, and the progress in the national reconciliation plan.
