Reports completed on 26 terrorist suspects

The DSI recommended for trial against the 26 suspects involved in violence related to the red-shirt rally.

Tharit said the 26 suspects were grouped into three separate categories for prosecution purpose - core leaders of the red shirts, red guards, also known as the hard-core group, and those linked to the bomb attack at Bhum Jai Thai Party.

Among key suspects include Veera Musigapong, Natthawut Saikua, weng Tojirakarn, Kokaew Pikulthong, Nisit Sinthuprai, Kwanchai Praipana or Sarakham, Wiphuthalaeng Pattanaphuthai, Jeng Dokchik, aka Yoswarit Chuklom and Surachai "Rang" Thewarat.

Three Pheu Thai MPs, Jatuporn Promphan, Karun Hosakul and Wichien Khaokham, are also in the first batch of suspects to be indicted and prosecuted.

In contrast to other suspects in remand, the three have been granted temporary release but will have to face the bail hearing again following indictment.

All 26 suspects will be taken to the Office of the Attorney General to ackhowledge their charges when the investigative reports are submitted for prosecution review.
