The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) launches Streaming Pro, the latest real-time trading application to satisfy online trading customers, with double faster booting time, using new quick key techniques for faster transmission of trading orders. This application will support multi-market trading, or trade equities and futures on one application, with a clearer information display than before and a Thai menu.
"SET has improved the application 'Streaming Plus' to support Internet trading, which is receiving great attention from today's investors. 'Streaming Pro,' is ready for investors through settrade's 20 members," noted SET Group Head, Markets, Kesara Manchusree.
Streaming Pro is another SET development to support investors' needs in both equities and futures markets. This application resulted from SET's gathering opinions from brokerage firms and investors using streaming applications.
Streaming Pro focuses on enhancing the application effectiveness, as it is smaller in size than the previous program but has double the booting speed. It is compatible with both PC and Macintosh computers. It has multi-account features,which allow investors to use Streaming Pro to trade for all of the accounts he or she holds.
Moreover, a Thai menu option has been added to support more users. Streaming Pro helps investors to take more advantage of market movements, " said Kesara.
Internet trading in the first half accounted for 21.88 per cent of total equity trading value, while Internet trading of Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX) accounted for 22.47 per cent of TFEX's total trading value.
