Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich is voted the new chairman of the Thai Bankers' Association, to replace Prasarn Trairatvorakul who will become Bank of Thailand's governor.
The voting took place at the TBA meeting on Monday, July 19.
Chartsiri takes this position for the second time. He was in charge of the position during 2002-2006.
