Pheu Thai electoral candidate Kokaew Pikulthong on Friday transformed his remand cell into a recording studio for the campaign message on the July 25 by-election for Bangkok Constituency 6.
Kokaew's lawyer Karom Pholthaklang and Pheu Thai secretary general Sunee Lueangwichit were present to assist in the audio taping.
Under the joint permission from the Criminal Court and the Department of Corrections, Kokaew is allowed to make his three-minute speech to be aired by the Election Commission which provides the equal-time platform for every electoral candidate to speak to voters via state-run media outlets.
