Social critic Prawase Wasi said yesterday that his Reform Assembly would come up with measures to bridge the country's inequality gap by six months.
The reform plan aims to build fair business, strengthen community, build up communities, ease bureaucracy as well as reform university education and media to name a few, Prawase said.
The assembly's main job is to encourage and support people help restructure all sectors, such as economic, financial and justice, in the country, he said.
The assembly discussed methods of bridging social inequality by using tax measures and land reform to prevent domination by a central authority, he said.
Reform in bureaucracy and education would also solve social crises, he said. Universities should lend a hand in the process, as well as help restructure the justice system, Prawase added.
"We will work with local administrative bodies for two week to brainstorm for ideas from local leaders for the reform across the country," he said.
"Within six months, we will have clear measures to help solve the country's problems," he said. "I will inject a strong dose to cure the patient," Prawase, who is also a physician, said.
The assembly will be using social networks, such as Facebook, to support the mission, he said.
