Six shortlisted

A shortlist of six candidates chosen as the first-round finalists of this year's SEA Write Award was announced yesterday. They have been selected from a total of 74 books of poems submitted.

The six are: "Chan Yak Rong Pleng Sak Pleng" (I Just Love to Sing) by Siriworn Kaewkan; "Dern Tam Roi" (Follow the Footsteps) by Wannao Yuden; "Nai Kwam Wai Ning Ngan" (Vacillating yet Stationary) by Naitiwa; "Muang Nai Sangdad" (City in Sunlight) by Kosin Khao-ngam; "Mai Mee Yingsao Nai Bot Kawi" (There is no Young Woman in Poetry) by Zakariya Amataya; and "Roob Chai Lai Cheep" (Photos and Lives) by Chokchai Bundit.
