The Revenue Department reported tax collection of Bt880 billion in the first 9 months of the 2010 fiscal year, Bt85 billion or 10 per cent higher than the target.
The Bt880 billion amount showed a 6.3 per cent increase from the amount collected during the same period last year.
Director General Winai Wittawatkaravet is convinced that its revenue for the entire year would reach Bt1.289 trillion, Bt100 billion above target.
