The Cabinet today approved the nomination of Prasarn Trairatvorakul, president of Kasikornbank and a former veteran of Bank of Thailand, as the new BOT chief, according to ICT Minister Chuti Krairiskh.
BOT Governor Tarisa Watanagase will retire in September.
