The 69 consumer product manufacturers show no objection in maintaining the product prices by another 3 months, to end-September, said Commerce Minister Porntiva Nakasai.
After the meeting with the manufacturers in the morning, she said that the oil prices are not so volatile that they affect the transportation cost. She believed that all the manufacturers thus should not find it too difficult to maintain the product prices.
However, those who suffer from higher production costs and can present details of the increase can contact the Internal Trade Department, she said.
