Charoen Pokphand Group Vice Chairman Ajva Taulanonda is confident that the economy will this year expand 4.5-5.5 per cent, provided there is no more violence.
He noted that as exports see no disruption from the political violence, the macro-economic condition remains strong and supports the huge growth rate.
At the press conference today, he also urged all to join hands in addressing social conflicts.
