Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij extends the offering period of the saving bonds until next Wednesday. The period is originally ending this Friday.
Unlike the previous savings bond issues, about Bt30 billion of the Bt100 billion bonds are left after three days of selling.
"We are not sure that people are well informed about bond selling after we have to postpone its launching twice due to political unrest," Korn told a press conference today.
