Thai Airways International may show Bt5.4 billion loss in the second quarter, as the number of tourists dropped following the political turmoil, its president Piyasvasti Amranand told leaders of over 700 airlines at the International Air Transport Association (IATA)'s annual meeting in Berlin.
However, he assured all that the political crisis is now over.
THAI will also push forward the sale of 1 billion shares within this year.
"The second-quarter result would not be favourable. I expect it to perform like the second
quarter last year when the world suffered from the global crisis and Thailand experienced violence in April," he said.
