A group of casualties from the red riots - injured victims, relatives of those killed and non-protesters affected by the violence - has called on the Pheu Thai Party to investigate the causes behind the losses and death.
The victims signed and submitted a petition to Pheu Thai Party spokesman Promphong Nopparit, asking him to uncover the facts and reveal them publicly.
They said they did not believe the government agencies appointed by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and Deputy PM Suthep Thaugsuban would find the answers.
Wassant "Keng" Sairasmi, a rescuer whose co-workers were killed inside Wat Pathum Wanaram on May 19, said he wanted the government to take responsibility for the deaths of his friends as he had seen soldiers firing bullets into the temple compound from the Skytrain tracks.
"I saw a group of men wearing soldiers' helmets shooting into the temple compound," he said.
"We [a medic team] always help people whoever they are - but why did they shoot us?" he said
PM Abhisit said during the parliamentary censure debate that four of the six bodies found inside Pathum Wanaram Temple died from bullets shot from a shallow angle, not the Skytrain.
Keng added bullets were fired from a high angle such as the Skytrain track, but also from a shallow angle by soldiers in front of the temple.
He said one of the six dead victims found inside the temple was shot at the of BTS Skytrain pillar in front of the temple. He ran into the temple and collapsed.
