Most Thais want the government to pay attention to their well being and debt issues, a Dusit Poll revealed yesterday.
Out of 3,508 Thais nation-wide inter-viewed over four days up to Friday, 44 per cent said they wanted the govern-ment to ask people about their well being, job security and debts. About 46 per cent wanted the government to obtain information about their hardship in making a living and debt burden.
Some 49 per cent of respondents said things that would boost their well-being were better housing conditions, commu-nity improvement and better security. About 40 per cent said things that would boost their vocational prospects were policies to boost the economy, tourism, commerce, investment, agriculture and industry.
