Business units today resume normal operations.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand temporarily moves its investor assistance unit to Maruey Library at Esplanade on Ratchapisek Road. Moved there are the TSD Counter Service and the document handling unit. They will be open from 10am to 5pm. Opportunity Day - where listed companies are meeing with interested investors - will resume tomorrow at Esplanade.
Bangkok Bank opens all branches, except the six which are under the authorities' safety inspection. The six branches are in Din Daeng, Asoke-Din Daeng, Khlong Toei, Saphan Luang, CentralWorld and Big C Rajdamri.
Siam Commercial Bank's all branches are open today, except four branches at CentralWorld, Siam Paragon and Big C Rajdamri. Staff are relocated to the Ratchayothin and Tesco Lotus Rama IV branches. Clients of the affected branches are advised to go to nearby branches.
Government Savings Bank reopens all branches. Clients who could not make scheduled payments during May 20-21 are allowed to make the payments today without any penalty charges. During last week, the bank closed 15 branches in the sensitive areas.
HSBC branch and HSBC Premier Centre on Rama IV road will be opened today with normal operating hours. ATMs and self-service machines are open for cash withdrawals, cash/cheque deposits and credit card repayment.
