Etihad, the United Arab Emirates�national carrier, is now offering online UAE visa application in Thailand, providing convenience for Thai travellers flying with Etihad. By logging on www.TTSUAEVvisas.com, passengers can now access UAE visa processing services, fill in the visa form, check visa status and arrange document collection. Other services are available to suit the individual needs of passengers. Call (02) 235 8280-3 weekdays between 8.30am and 3pm.
Czech mates
Emirates, the Dubai-based airline, will operate flights between Bangkok and Prague via Dubai starting from July 1. Flight EK149 departs Suvarnabhumi Airport at 2.40am and arrives in Dubai at 5.45am local time. The connecting flight EK 139 takes off at 10.30am and gets into the Czech capital at 2.50pm. The return flight EK 140 departs Prague at 4.20pm, landing in Dubai at 12.15am the following day. From Dubai to Bangkok, flight EK 384 is set to leave at 3.15am, arriving in Bangkok at 12.25pm. Prague, or Praha in Czech, has served as the capital of the historic region of Bohemia for centuries.

Phuket� Maikhao Beach is holding its annual Mini Marathon & Fun Run on May 23 to raise funds for the care of sea turtles at Phuket Marine Biological Centre. There� a 10.5-kilometre mini-marathon (registration costs Bt250) and a 3.5km Fun Run (Bt200). Registrations start at 4.30am with the race kicking off at 6 from Pru Jeh San Lake. Both fees include a T-shirt and the chance to win trophies, medals and lucky draw prizes.
