The containers in the red-shirt command centre are mysterious and restricted to outsiders. However, a red-shirt guard took Nation Channel cameraman Kasem Intapat on a guided tour.
There are several containers near the red-shirt stage at the Rajprasong intersection serving as a meeting room, bedroom and a station for People Channel Television.
The container, in which the red-shirt leaders hold their meetings before making any announcements, is a small room with a big air-conditioner. It is furnished with a long table and about 10 white plastic chairs, with an adjoining air-conditioned toilet.
The air-conditioned container used as a bedroom for the leaders has foldable beds, although it is a bit of a mess. The leaders have apparently been improvising, hanging their clothes on chairs and walls, because there is no closet. This container also comes with a toilet.
