Commander of the Police Operations Centre for Southern Border Provinces, Pol LtGeneral Peera Pumpichet, yesterday instructed all 59 police stations in the South to beef up security ahead of the sixth anniversary of the Krue Se massacre on April 28.
"We have officials, both in uniform and undercover, staking out at targeted areas and finding information because officials cannot afford to be unprepared on this important day because the insurgents could use a chance to attack."
