Oil prices cut tomorrow

As global oil prices descend on several negative factors, local oil retailers will tomorrow slash gasohol prices by 40 satang per litre.

PTT, the largest retailer with over 1,300 petrol stations, attributed the lower oil prices to decreased consumer confidence following the Goldman Sachs scandal as well as the slight appreciation of the US dollar against the euro. Dubai crude oil also dropped, as Dubai refineries resume operations and lower imports from Saudi Arabia.

Dubai crude oil today stood at US$83.11 per barrel.
