It� a good thing the World Gourmet Summit is starting there tomorrow
Singapore leaps beyond chilli crab and Hainanese chicken rice tomorrow through April 25 for the 14th World Gourmet Summit, hosted by Peter Knipp Holdings with the backing of the Singapore Tourism Board.

�uests can look forward to sampling the finest cuisine by the world� leading chefs and engaging with them at the chef�table luncheons and culinary master classes.

Among the new events is The Grandeur of Wines, a threeday celebration of fine products from around the world complete with a gala dinner and wine fair.
The Grand Jury European, a panel of 13 esteemed authorities, is making its Asian debut with a blind tasting of 2005 Bordeaux Vintage and 2004 Italy Vintage.
This year� summit will also have an entire event dedicated to premium wines to complement the gourmet cuisine, in a bid to position Singapore as a wine hub for Southeast Asia.

Meet the summit� �onstellation of Stars�at a dazzling gourmet extravaganza. The master chefs include Raymond Blanc Michel, Andrea Berton and Michel Rostang, all glittering with Michelin stars.
Among the highlights is a charity dinner at the ShangriLa Hotel on Thursday to raise funds for Singapore� Community Chest.
On April 20 there�l be a celebrity dinner featuring the cuisine of chef Raymond Blanc.
In all, 63 sumptuous events will take place over the 15 days, involving the participation of 25 partner restaurants and 13 host establishments.
