Partnership to Accelerate Market Synergy and Deepen Government & Carrier Traction in Thailand
Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext: Paris and NYSE: ALU) today announces the appointment of Samart Telcoms PCL. as Alcatel-Lucent's reseller. The partnership will help strengthen market synergy for Alcatel-Lucent, as it will create a solid foundation to further penetrate the government and carrier markets. This partnership is built upon the vision of Samart Telcoms (STC) to be the trusted alliance for end customers and evangelize ALU's presence in the channels.
The business collaboration started last year when STC selected ALU's solutions to power TOT's broadband project. Under the reseller agreement, STC will carry the entire ALU's next-generation wireline and wireless telecommunications product line to offer carrier and government customers an end-to-end telecommunications strategy. To further underscore this partnership, Benjamin Kharlakian, ALU (Thailand)'s Managing Director added, "Alcatel-Lucent's stand as the worldwide leading, dedicated telecommunication infrastructure supplier will help Samart Telcoms evangelize our offerings for the marketplace in Thailand."
