The Democrats have started on Wednesday to distribute 100,000 stickers to say no to the dissolution of Parliament, seen as an act of defiance to the demanded of the red shirts.
The campaign to counter the red shirts is spearheaded by three MPs, Boonyord Sukthinthai, Watchara Phetthong and Pojanat Kaewpaluek.
The stickers read, "No House Dissolution." The red shirts have called PM Abhisit Vejjajiva to dissolve the Parliament.
The street protests are being fuelled by three main groups comprising the opposition MPs, the red shirts and the violence-prone people, Boonyod said, arguing the three share the same objective of disrupting the country's administration.
He called on the red shirts to stop camping out at Rajprasong because it had caused a lot of stress for Bangkok residents.
Watchara said he received a large number of complaints related to the red shirts. He also urged the government to enforce the law in order to remove the red shirts from Rajprasong in a speedy manner.
