The Stock Exchange of Thailand Index hit a new high in 15 months, at 763.46 points, on continued capital inflows.
The overall market capitalisation was also the highest in two years, at Bt6.04 trillion as of Tuesday.
The market cap stood at Bt5.8 trillion at end-2009 and Bt3.56 trillion at end-2008.
The market today enjoyed a continued boost on capital inflows, which further strengthened the Thai baht to above Bt33 per dollar. At 3pm, the market's trading turnover was as high as Bt20.9 billion.
