Electrolux Thailand joins "Earth Hour 2010", encouraging staff and customers to switch off electricity for one hour on March 27 in the Bangkok's campaign to reduce unnecessary consumption.
Participation in Earth Hour 2010 is one of Electrolux's ongoing Green Spirit activities which aims to provide employees with a current environmental crisis mindset around the globe and encourages them to act.
In addition to the one hour electricity switch-off campaign, the company is keen to contribute to other ongoing energy-saving activities as it always believes in people and sees them as the best resource towards building a better, more sustainable future.
The Earth Hour 2010 activity, scheduled to be held in Bangkok Nontaburi Chiangmai khonkaen and Phuket on March 27th 2010 during 20.30-21.30 hrs., aims to encourage nationwide public and save up to 2,000 megawatts of electricity.
