All set for full-scale, multimedia coverage of protests

Despite threats and rumours targeting the Nation Multimedia Group and some key individuals ahead of yet another major political event, readers of The Nation will continue to be kept abreast of what's going on politically by our dedicated staff.

Quick breaking news updates will be available on The Nation website, www.nationmultimedia.com, along with photos and video clips of the red-shirts' rally, which will start on Friday to culminate in a massive congregation on Sunday.

Tweeple can also follow real-time updates from Nation Group editor-in-chief Suthichai Yoon (@suthichai) and The Nation editor Tulsathit Taptim (@tulsathit).

From Friday to Monday, The Nation will come in an adjusted, more compact format to give our editorial team greater flexibility and mobility in the face of uncertainties. While print space for some non-current news sections may be temporarily reduced, the national news section will be given enough space to accommodate all reports on what is transpiring in the next few days. Readers will be given the usual insights and analyses on all key developments.

We wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to concerned readers who have called in to check on our health.

We can reassure our readers that The Nation, its sister publications and the media group as a whole have taken all necessary precautions and put in place security measures for the next few days with the help of those in charge of enforcing law and order.

Your support can only mean greater inspiration for our editorial staff who will continue doing their duties to the best of their ability during this challenging time in our country.
