Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thuagsuban on Wednesday said security forces have been alerted to monitor 30 to 40 areas in the capital that might be targetted for bomb attacks. The high-risk areas included key government installations and public places.
Suthep said the enforcement of the internal security law would not disrupt the livelihood of Bangkok residents. He also stated crowd control measures, if implemented, will conform to international standards.
