The red shirts from across the country will not be deterred by security checkpoints and plan to kick off their mass rally in Bangkok on Sunday as planned, organiser Jatuporn Promphan said on Wednesday.
Jatuporn said the government's efforts to derail the rally would fail.
He also reminded Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thuagsuban to "find a new place to live" if he abused his power in enforcing the security measures against the red shirts.
"The government has no right to block the red shirts and every checkpoint will be overcomed so that the rally can take place in Bangkok," he said.
Another organiser Natthawut Saikua denied the allegation that the red shirts have planned to raid and seize broadcasting stations and newspapers offices.
