Garmin-Asus takes a step further with the launch of the latest touch-screen smartphone, garmin-asus M10, by combining all requirements within a single phone, including communication, navigation, and real-time data management for convenient lifestyle.
Garmin-Asus is a co-branded strategic alliance that enables Garmin and ASUSTeK Computer to combine their complementary resources to develop world class LBS-centric mobile phones.
Edison Wang, product manager of Garmin-Asus Thailand, stated that Garmin-Asus M10 is a smartphone for the new generation who prefers an all-in-one device that combines functions of phone, notebook, satellite navigator, digital camera, and social networking. It contains the same premium navigation software as 1460 model, which is a high-end Garmin navigator.
"This year, the overall market trend and mainstream for PDA phone in Thailand will require user-friendly device with various attributes. Users are more interested in fashionable design and portability. I believe that garmin-asus M10 can fulfill all the mentioned demands," said Pornthep Watchara-Amnouy, managing director of ASUSTek Computer (Thailand).
Garmin-Asus earlier launched M20 model and won warm response. It led Pornthep to a belief that similar success would be registered this time. With managing capability of its main distributor, SiS Distribution (Thailand), "we are confident that garmin-asus will be the one to watch for making sales return and taking market share in Thailand."
Garmin-Asus M10 will be available in the middle of March in black and white colors. It will be sold at 2 prices: Bt14,900 (excluding car installation devices) and Bt16,900 (inclusive of car installation devices). Both prices include VAT.
