Jittapas Bhirombhakdi, elder daughter of Chutinant Bhirombhakdi, the executive vice president and director of Boon Rawd Brewery, has applied for membership of the Democrat Party.
She hopes to stand in the next general election as a Bangkok MP candidate.
Jittapas used to serve in the Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office. She resigned after handing out 200 Leo Beer calendars, featuring female models wearing nothing but body paint, at Government House.
She once said she dreamed of becoming the first woman prime minister of Thailand.
