Power of interior design

Having succeeded in selling 85 per cent of the 283 units at its Hua Hin condominium project, Baan San Suk, developer Sansiri has enlisted the help of interior designers in an effort to shift the rest.

It has applied total interior design to eight units, each of them in a different style, hoping the move will inspire some sales. At very least, it may tempt existing owners to copy the design styles.

Baan San Suk, a low-rise condominium with 283 units in seven-storey buildings occupying 10 rai, is now complete and remaining units are ready for transfer to buyers.

Dusadee Tancharoen, assistant vice president for condominium marketing and product development, said the project, which was close to the beach, was designed on an "Impressive Nature" theme, with tropical trees and a large swimming pool.

The remaining 43 units are standard one-bedroom type with floor space of 49 square metres and a price of Bt4.59 million. Sansiri has created eight themes and is offering the units fully furnished and decorated according to any one of the themes, for Bt4.92 million.

The eight design themes are house of pearl, sun (inspired by the colours of Mexico and Africa), sea and sky, Victorian chic, seaside blue, sense of sand, white typical and nuevo country home.

If customers who have already bought units at the project wish to adopt one of Sansiri's design themes, they can contract the company to do the job, Dusadee said.
