When it comes to that radiant look, a solid makeup foundation is crucial
You can't build a palace without a grand foundation, and the same applies to a beautiful face with a flawless, smooth, even complexion, says makeup artist Kamol Chatsen.
Kamol joined model Rujira Chauykue and Montree Watla-ead, for "On Location with La Mer", a recent product launch.
The foundation doesn't just make the skin bright, it makes it look natural, Montree noted.
"On the set, most actresses have their own makeup kits, but a powder foundation is essential," he said. "It helps to both create and correct the 'character', and most importantly, it makes you look good on camera!"
Rujira pointed out that there's a difference between the makeup used in a fashion show and what's required for film or TV.
"On the catwalk, which is a live show, there's no technology that's going to help me look more beautiful," she said.
"A good complexion is the No 1 priority. I drink a lot of water and apply day and night cream and sun block. That's very important.
"And powder foundation instantly helps my face look radiant, giving it a natural glow."
