Not at all like Mr Bean

คำนาม bean-counter หมายถึง a person - often one who works in finance - who does not like to allow employees to spend money; หรืออีกนัยหนึ่ง คือ an extremely careful accountant or bureaucrat.
We want to organise our annual event to reflect the companyีs position in our society but the bean-counter said we should focus on making money, not spending it.
เพราะฉะนั้น หัวข้อข่าวนี้บอกเราว่า CFOs are not strictly just accounts.
ต่อไปเป็นสำนวน to าnot have a beanำ. สำนวนลำลองสำนวนนี้ describes a situation in which someone has no money at all.
It makes me wonder how Jack lives in a big city and does not have a bean.
สำนวนต่อไปคือ When someone says something is not worth a bean, they mean that it is worth very little or nothing.
